Leads is a lightweight sales pipeline: capture a lead, assign it to someone, move it through stages, log reminders and followups against it, and convert it into a real customer once it closes. Every change to a lead is written to an activity log so you can see who did what. It follows the same layout as Staffing — one shared sub-menu at the top: Overview · Leads · Reminder · Followups · Log · Settings.
URL: /admin/leads-overview. A dashboard for the whole module:
URL: /admin/leads.
Three list pages, each showing activity across every lead (not just one) — useful for a manager scanning what's outstanding without opening leads one at a time. Every row includes the customer's name and contact details plus a View Lead link, and each has its own search filter.
| Page | URL | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| Reminder | /admin/leads-reminders | Customer, Mobile, Email, Message, Reminder Time, Created By |
| Followups | /admin/leads-followups | Customer, Mobile, Email, Customer Response, Created By, Date |
| Log | /admin/leads-logs | Lead, Action, Details, Performed By, Date |
URL: /admin/leads/add and /admin/leads/{id}/edit. One flat form:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Category | From Leads Settings → Lead Category. |
| Source | From Leads Settings → Lead Source. |
| Status | The pipeline stage, from Leads Settings → Lead Status. On the Add form, "Converted" isn't offered — a lead only becomes Converted through the Convert action below. The Edit form does allow setting it directly. |
| Priority | High / Medium / Moderate / Low. |
| Location | A dropdown sourced from Office Location — the same master-data list used by Staffing's Job Location field. Stores the location's name directly. |
| Company Name, Contact Person Name, Contact Person Designation | Free text. |
| Email, Mobile, Alt Mobile | Free text contact details. |
| Additional Details | Free-text notes. |
Either Company Name or Contact Person Name is required — everything else is optional. A newly created lead is auto-assigned to whoever created it (see Assign below).
Opening a lead shows an identity card — name and contact details — with action buttons (Back to List, Assign, Edit, Add Reminder, Add Followup, Convert Customer). Only Convert Customer is hidden once the lead is already Converted — the rest stay available.
Below that sits its own four-tab sub-menu (the same pattern as an employee's detail page in Staffing), scoped to that one lead, with four status badges lined up on the right of the same row:
The four tabs:
Opens a dialog with a dropdown of active employees (from Staffing) and reassigns the lead to whoever is picked. The lead's Assigned badge updates immediately, and an "Assigned to …" entry is written to the lead's Log.
Subject (required) and an optional Reminder Time — a simple to-do note against the lead, not a scheduled notification.
Client Remark (required) plus optional Notes — a log entry for what the customer said or what happened on a call/visit.
Opens a small form pre-filled from the lead (Company Name, Contact Person Name, Email, Mobile). Submitting it goes through the same "Add Customer" action used everywhere else in the app, so any logic that applies to customer creation (wallet setup, etc.) applies to conversions too:
Every mutation on a lead — create, update, delete, stage change, reminder added, followup added, assignment, conversion — is recorded with who did it and when. You can review it two ways:
/admin/leads-logs), which also links back to each lead.URL: /admin/leads-settings. Three independent master-data lists, each with its own Add/Edit dialog and Delete:
| Section | Used for | Default seed |
|---|---|---|
| Lead Category | The Category field on every lead. | Retail, Wholesale, Corporate, Individual |
| Lead Source | The Source field on every lead. | Website, Referral, Cold Call, Social Media, Walk-in |
| Lead Status | The pipeline Stage values (list & inline dropdown, Add/Edit forms). | New, Contacted, Qualified, Converted |
The "Converted" status is special: the Leads list's inline dropdown and the Add Lead form both leave it out on purpose — the only way a lead reaches Converted is through the Convert To Customer action, so it always corresponds to an actual customer record.
